Drew is the BIG 4-0!

Drew is 40 today! And Jake loves his Dada sooo much. We're celebrating at The Blue Martini and then dinner at Seasons 52...but the birthday boy is really looking forward to NYC in 3 weeks with the family. Cheers to Drew! Love you babe!

So here is my official first attempt at keeping a family blog!

Jake is 17 months old and truly the time has flown! He started walking about 2 weeks ago and he's getting stronger everyday! He's started to say some words very clearly, like cracker, which all snacks to him is a cracker. He points to his mouth when he says it, that was part of the baby sign language that I never quite completely embraced, but he must have picked it up at some time. He loves to play and most of the time he'll just sit down by himself and get busy with something. He's such a little man and a totally delight.

I'm posting a video taken today of him walking from his bedroom (where I could hear him playing) to the living room where I was sitting. When he went to school, he matched, but being all boy means you come home with a different shirt on in the afternoon! Enjoy Jake walking!
