Happy Easter!

Happy Easter! Jake went to see Peter Rabbit... Drew and I were worried about how he would react to the walking fur ball, but to our great surprise, he ended up loving him. Not even an unsure peep. He was actually the kid that wouldn't leave, he kept walking back to Peter... even when the other kids behind us were trying to sit, Jake was right there. I'll scan the picture and post it later. We picked one where Jake is looking up at Peter and smiling! It's adorable!

Our day started with an egg hunt in the backyard...

Notice Sai in the background trying to get an egg too!

Jake now tells us when he is "all done"... after a dozen eggs, we all were all done!

After our hunt, we checked out all the goodies... I put rainbow goldfish and bunny snacks in some of the eggs. Jake ate them all!!

We then headed over to the Abraham's home to have a late lunch and of course to see Bella!!
Jake doesn't like to share! Shocking!?! He did give Bella a kiss good bye though!! Hope you all had a wonderful Easter with your family and friends!!

Early Easter Fun...

Grammy & "Bappy" gave Jake an Easter basket filled with ears, Elmo shades, a Disney bowl & a quaking duck....

Our neighbor, "Grandma" Jane hosted an Easter egg coloring party!

Hmmmm....

Okay, I got this down....

Nice work! He loved the eggs!

Jake with Jane...she helped him find eggs in her yard! So sweet!

Play-dough station...complete with egg and bunny molds!

It's a lot of work hunting eggs... Jake takes a break with some raisins...

Some bunny loves him!

NYC

A few weeks ago, we headed to NYC for a much needed break! We met Steph & Eddie, Nancy & Ken, and Matt... needless to say a good time was had by all. A big hug and thank you to Pauli for taking care of Jake.

Here are a few pics I thought I would share... there are many more BUT they really should stay off a family blog... ; )

Drew & Eddie...

How many mugs can one hand hold?

The gang outside of McSorley's...

Ken, Matt & Nancy @ our hotel bar, Gaby's...

We had a fabulous dinner @ Patsy's....

If you can get past the very BAD cinematography (I had been @ McSorley's for quite awhile), this is an entertaining clip... mind you I had to get a shot of the kid!! It just didn't seem right that he was there as an eye witness to drunken debauchery.
