Here is Jake today, Sunday, November 15, 2009... he wore his 'Noles jersey yesterday (a win) and his 'Fins jersey today (another win). This should be a weekly tradition!

New Garden Plantings
Last weekend, I decided to replant the garden for the fall. I added spinach, chives, onion, broccoli, beets, cucumber and kept the two eggplants (regular & ichiban). This weekend some are already sprouting. I wanted to share because I'm SO excited! I went from all seeds this time, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I see veggies.
Fun-filled Weekend
I drove up to Lake Mary this weekend, to celebrate Kara's wedding to Adam. It was so much fun to see my girlfriends! They are the BEST.... above is a group shot...

Cute Story...
Jake has been going to the chiropractor since he was first born. It used to be just light thumps down his spine, but now he actually gets adjustments. So on Saturday he and Drew are in Dr. K's office. Drew goes first. Then it's Jake's turn. He doesn't complain, he lays on the table, turns when he is asked and Dr. K cracks his neck. Drew said he could hear the pops and obiviously so could Jake, because he politely said, "Excuse me". Drew and Dr. K could not stop laughing!

Soccer Tots!!
Jake joined Soccer Tots... today was his first practice and he really enjoyed it. He wasn't the kid crying in the back or the kid that could already kick, but he ran around the entire time with THE biggest smile on his face! Which really what more could a proud dada and mama ask for? His Coach is Katie and when she asked him if had got a lot of candy for Halloween, he replied, "All done!" because of course I had told him he was all done with the candy the night before....hoping he forgets where I put the pumpkin and doesn't ask for it again!! He got a lot of chocolate, which I will really enjoy!
Here is a clip of Jake chasing around a hula hoop...
Halloween 2009
We hope you had a wonderful Halloween Night! Jake went as the night sky with the moon and stars. I had debated whether or not to buy a costume but when I started looking, it was tough to find anything that really captured what I thought Jake was all about. He loves the moon and he picks it out in any book he reads, so it seemed an obvious choice. I ended up making the shirt he wore, nothing fancy. And he looked at it and began hollering, "Moon, moon!"
A definite success!
He only went to the 6 homes of our lovely neighbors, but he so had the trick or treat thing down. It was super cute.
When we came back in, he had a twizzler, but then tried to move onto other candies. I had to tell him "all done" several times before he realized he wouldn't be enjoying any more that night!!
Of course, we carved a pumpkin as well. No Halloween would be complete without one.
